If you’re looking for a Marda Loop Daycare and a unique opportunity to have an experienced teacher with a passion for education care for your child, then Little Heartprints Academy is the place for your child!

Little Heartprints Academy is a daycare that follows a Montessori and Reggio inspired approach to learning.

We believe in the power of early childhood education to help build a strong foundation for everything that follows. In the first six years of life, children develop beliefs and attitudes about themselves and their place in the world. We strive to help them develop confidence and maintain a sense of wonder, and curiosity in an environment that celebrates their individuality and limitless capacity as learners.

Join Little Heartprints Academy to embark on this exciting journey for your little one!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide quality individualized care and education to young children. We focus on the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of the child. We want to instill in children a love of learning by giving them opportunities to express themselves and take risks in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. With support and guidance from the educators, we want children to become independent, responsible individuals that respect themselves, others and their environment.

Our Vision

Our vision is that children will be better equipped for the world we live in today; to be able to navigate the world with more creativity, independence, strength, and to lead this world with more kindness and empathy. We want children to grow up being confident and to be life long learners.

Testimonials

“Our daughter has been at Little Heartprints Academy for over 2 years now and we are so happy we made the change. We really liked the curriculum-based approach that challenges the children and prepares them with the skills they will need as they start school.

The spaces are clean and we are always amazed at the variety of quality and healthy food that is prepared. Doreen and her staff are amazing with the kids and have created a great community we are so happy to be apart of.

I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Little Heartprints to anyone looking for quality childcare”

— Chad

“Doreen is the type of teacher, leader, educator that you grow up hoping to have. Her passion for early childhood development seeps through everything she does in the classroom. As her previous teaching partner, seeing the way she created unique lessons and games to inspire children’s curiosity was always inspiring. She is gifted when it comes to working and connecting with children, on both intellectual level and emotional levels.”

— AMELIA HRADSKY;
FORMER PARTNER TEACHER

I can’t imagine I could ever a find a daycare that provides a better environment than what Doreen and the staff at Little Heartprints do. On top of a set curriculum the teachers also work with the students to help cater the curriculum to their interests. I have seen them work on a variety of topics from polar bear habitats to the life cycles of a turtle. They have mindful minutes, practice yoga and teach simple breathing techniques for children to utilize when feeling those big feelings.

The food is nutritious and varied. The rooms are clean with rotating, open ended toys to give children space to create. The staff is kind and wildly patient. The class sizes are small which allows all the staff so much opportunity to get to know each individual child and for each child to know each other.

Doreen has created a special space and we are so happy to apart of the Little Heart Prints community.
